2.6 Safety markings on the water pump

Safety markings and instructions are attached to the wa-
ter pump (Fig. 1), which must be observed and followed.

Fig. 1:  Safety labels

Damaged or missing safety symbols on the water pump
can lead to incorrect handling with personal injury and
damage to property. The safety symbols attached to the
machine must not be removed.

Damaged safety symbols must be replaced immediately.
From the time when the signs are not immediately recog-
nisable and understandable at first sight, the machine
must be taken out of operation until the new signs are at-
tached.

DANGER!

Any modification of the device is prohibited. In addi-
tion to invalidating the warranty, the modification may
result in fire and injury, including death, to the user.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage to
property or persons as a result of failure to follow
these instructions or misuse of the unit.

DANGER!

Do not pump salt water with the pump!

DANGER!

The water pump must not be used to pump food.

DANGER!

If the ambient temperature is lower than 5°C or the
pump is not used for a longer period of time, drain
the piping system to avoid ice formation in the pump
chamber.

DANGER!

The pumped liquid may be hot and under high pressure.
Before moving or disassembling the pump, empty the
liquid in the pump and piping to avoid scalding.

DANGER!

Check that the supply voltage of the water pump cor-
responds to the water pump nameplate. Failure to
observe these rules may result in fire and injury,
including death, to the user.

DANGER!

The pump is not suitable for pumping salt water,
faeces, flammable, corrosive, explosive or other dan-
gerous liquids. The pumped liquid must not exceed
or fall below the maximum or minimum temperature
specified in the technical data.

DANGER!

When pumping dirty liquids, install a suction strainer
to protect the pump from dirt.

If no water is delivered after 5 minutes of operation of
the water pump, switch off the pump, refill water and
