2. Hold the mask at the chin section by both
hands, pull it away from your head and re-
move it.
6. Air-tightness test
1.
Place your palm on the filter opening.
2.
Slightly breathe in and watch whether the
mask slightly presses towards your face
and whether any air leaks between the
mask and your face.
NOTICE
If you find any air leakage, adjust the mask position
on your face and tighten the head straps to elimi-
nate any leakage.
Do not use the respirator unless perfect air-tight-
ness has been achieved.
7. Maintenance
This protection mask should be periodically checked
and maintained by trained specialists. All service
records must be archived. Always use only original
spare parts. The manufacturer recommends the fo-
llowing maintenance intervals. These intervals can
be shorter then stated below due to high frequency
of use. Observe national laws and regulations!

Whenever the mask is cleaned and sanitized or
whenever spare parts have been changed, the
functionality and air-tightness tests must take pla-
ce but only after these procedures.
Check for cracks, leaks or distortions in the mask.
Valve membranes must freely move and the valve
seats must be clean and undamaged.

Remove the outlet valve membrane.

Slightly press on the valve body with your
fingers from the side and remove the cover.
NOTICE
Outlet valves are located on both sides of
the mask.
2. Press a new inlet valve membrane into the
inner mask opening.
3. Hold the membrane stem and turn it to
verify its stability under load.
4. Close the valve body.
5. Press a new inlet valve membrane into the
inner mask opening.

Pull the inner mask to remove it.
2.
Insert a new inner mask into the face-piece
section according to the drawing, seal the
first one A(a), B(b) and finally C(c), in this
order.
Front cover
1.
Use a hexagonal wrench to remove the two
screws on the front side and then remove
the front cover.
2. Use the screws to fasten a new front
cover.
