2. Use and limitations on use
• Use
The GX02 full-face mask protects face and re-
spiratory tract. Depending on the filter used it
protects the user in an environment contaminated
with solid and liquid aerosols, gases, vapours and
combinations of these dangerous substances.
It can also be used in combination with
CleanAIR®Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR)
or Continous Flow Compressed Air Line Breathing
Apparatus ( Air Line). Keep the manual for future
reference.
• Limitations on use
Carefully observe the following instructions.
DANGER
1.
Never use the mask in the following envi-
ronments and under the following conditions:
• If oxygen concentration in the environment is
lower than 17 %.
• In oxygen ambiences and oxygen-enriched en-
vironments.
• In explosive ambiences.
• In environments where the user lacks
knowledge about the kind of dangerous sub-
stance and its concentration.
• In environments that represent an immediate
threat to the life and health.
• Unknown type and concentration of the gases
or vapours in the environment.
• In environments with various mixes of gases
and vapours.
2. Do not use this product before carefully rea-
ding this manual. If you have any questions,
please contact the manufacturer or your dis-
tributor.
3. If used with CleanAIR PAPR or airline sys-
tem, instructions in the relevant user manu-
al (PAPR, airline) have to be duly followed.
WARNING
1.
Do not modify or distort the mask and refrain
from exerting excessive force on the mask.
2. Do not disassemble or modify the face parts.
3. Use only original spare and consumable
parts.
4. Do not use if:
• You have a beard, hair or sideburns reaching
into the sealing line of the mask. The reques-
ted protection function of the mask cannot be
achieved under such circumstances.
• You are in a poor physical condition.
5. Individuals with respiratory or circulatory sys-
tem disease should consult a physician and
go through a medical examination before use.
6. Give your attention to checking the product
before use.
7. Perform an air-tightness test whenever
putting on the mask.
8. Do not insert towels or any other objects that
could cause air-tightness disruption in the
space between the face and the mask sea-
ling line.
9. If any of the following problems occur when
using the mask, move to a secure location
and take appropriate measures:
• If you experience increased breathing resis-
tance or if you have problems with breathing.
• If you start to feel stench or irritation or an
unpleasant taste while breathing.
• If you feel unwell or if you experience nausea.
10. Use only authorized CleanAIR
®
filters suitable
for the particular application. Particle filters
do not protect the user against gases and
vapours. Gas filters do not protect the user
against any particles. Use combined filters in
case of contamination by both kinds of dan-
gerous substances.
11. Do not use filters with expired shelf lives (see
section „11. Shelf life“).
12. Do not use filters that are damaged, malfor-
med, corroded or otherwise.
NOTICE
1.
In case of allergic reactions (i.e. rash, redness,
itching, etc.) while using this product stop
using it and consult a dermatologist.
2. This product is intended to be used in envi-
ronments with temperature range from 0 °C
to +50 °C.
