Inspecting the Coil Tube Boiler Installation
Following the completion of all installation activities described in this chapter, the CTB should be
inspected by qualified personnel before firing. This ensures that your installation meets all applicable
national and local codes and allows for any deficiencies in the installation to be corrected before CTB
startup.
Improper installation will void your warranty.
NOTE: Important! During the inspection, be sure to check the aquastat settings . Initial settings are
listed here:
• Operating Aquastat 180
o
F (minimum)
• Hi-limit Aquastat (with manual reset) 240 o F
Refer to Section 6 for burner startup and final adjustments of the aquastat.
Any changes to these settings should be made only by a qualified hydronics technician. See Section
10, The CTB Hydronics System, for more information.
