AC 5032
BOILING BRAKE FLUID TESTER
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
MAINTENANCE
•
Retrieving the sample and setting up the test :
1 - Use the syringe to take the targeted liquid and then
pour it into the beaker. Note that the volume of the liquid
sampled must not exceed 20 ml.
2 - Keep the beaker on a flat surface.
3 - Place the test probe in the liquid.
It is advisable to keep the sample tube of the test probe
completely in the liquid.
Also ensure that the test probe is not subjected to shocks,
blows or drops to avoid damage to the test probe.
•
Clean the unit before storing :
Test with clean water to remove corrosion from the used probe with a highly corrosive liquid. Then
store the tester after drying it.
•
Calibration :
Test the boiling point of the clean water to verify that the tester reads correctly 100°C(212° F)±3%. If
not, it may be defective.
•
Test procedure :
1 - Connect the two alligator clips to a 12V lead battery
(the red clip for the positive terminal and the black clip for
the negative terminal) to power the equipment.
2 - Hold down the "Test" key until the progress bar reaches
the right side of the screen.
3 - As soon as the test is completed, the measured boiling
point is displayed on the screen, as well as the values of
the accepted reference points.
4 - If the measured boiling point is lower than the reference
values, replace the fluid immediately.
The sampling probe
must be completely
in the liquid.
Do not rotate the
test probe when
removing it to avoid
spilling liquid.
• Reverse polarity power connection protection.
• Step-by-step on-screen operating instructions.
• Quick boiling point diagnosis with referenced minimum accepted values.
• No need for sample paper, which saves costs.
