7. Changing the battery
Change the battery as soon as the battery symbol
appears on the display.
Warning:
Make sure the test leads are disconnected from the circuit being tested before
replacing the battery.
1. Turn the meter off and remove
the test leads.
2. Remove the screw holding
the stand and the battery cover
in place.
3. Remove the old battery and
insert a new 9 V (6F22) observing
the correct polarity.
4. First, press the lower half of
the battery cover/stand over
the battery and then screw it
in place.
