6.2 Operation
Connecting the meter to a computer and using the software program:
1. Remove the cover of the optical interface on the back of the meter (by sliding it
upwards) and connect one of the supplied cables (RS232 or USB) to the optical
interface and to the corresponding computer port.
2. Hold in [ REL
▲
/RS232 (USB) ] for two seconds to activate or deactivate
the RS232/USB function.
3. The sleep function is exited when the RS232/USB function is activated and
disappears from the display.
4. If the meter is in the
Hold
,
Max/Min
or
REL
mode, the respective type
of reading will appear on the display but a neutral reading will be sent via
the computer interface.
