Safety
The risk of fire and explosion
• Liquids and solvents can be highly flammable and explosive.
• Use all chemicals in a well-ventilated room suited for the purpose.
• Avoid any possibility of igniting fumes, such as smoking, naked flames,
sparks and static electricity.
• Never use solvents containing Halogenated hydrocarbons (1-1-1-methyl
trichloride, ethyl chloride, etc.) which can react with certain materials in
the spray and cause an explosion. Make sure that all lacquering products
and solvents used are compatible by comparing them with the technical
specifications.
• To reduce the risk of static electeicity, make sure that both the lacquering
equipment and the object to be lacquered are earthed.
Dangers of misuse
• Never point the spray gun towards people or animals.
• Never exceed the maximum rated working pressure.
• Always disconnect the air hose and empty the paint cup before
disassembling, cleaning and service.
