Follow the instructions below for connection to the power supply and
the electrical ground.
This product must be grounded . If it should malfunction or break-
down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric
current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This product is equipped
with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and ground-
ing plug. The plug must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that
is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes
and ordinances.
WARNING:
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding
conductor can result in a risk of electric shock.

person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet
is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug
provided with the product. If it will not

t the outlet,
have a proper outlet installed by a quali

ed electri-
cian.
WARNING:
DO NOT remove the ground prong from your
power cord. This could result in serious injury or
fatality.
This product is for use on a nominal 120 volt circuit and has a
grounding attachment plug that looks like the plug illustrated in Fig-
ure 1. Make sure that the product is connected to an outlet having
the same con
fi
guration as the plug. No adapter should be used with
this product.

WARNING!
Improper discharge of waste water may damage the environment and be illegal. The United States Environmental Protection Agency has established
certain regulations regarding discharge of waste water. Also, city and state regulation regarding this discharge may be in effect in your area. Under-
stand and follow the regulations in your area. Be aware of the environmental hazards of chemicals that you dispose.
CAUTION!
To prevent damage to the power cord, do not move this machine over the power cord, instead, lift the power cord over the machine. If the cord sup-
plied is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualifed person in order to avoid the hazard.
To prevent damage to the power cord and hoses, do not use the power cord or hoses to pull the machine.
To prevent damage to the machine avoid extreme temperatures.
To prevent damage to the machine do not let pump run dry.
INSPECTION: Carfefully unpack and inspect your new Extractor for shipping damage. Each unit is tested and inspected before shipment.
Any damage incurred is the responsibility of the carrier, who should be noti
fi
ed immediately.
CLEANING SOLUTIONS: We recommend liquid cleaning chemicals. A pH of 7-9 is strongly recommended to avoid premature pump wear,
which would voide the warranty.
