Common Operations
Dimmer control
You can set the dimmer control.
∗
The factory default setting is “
ON
”.
1. Press and hold the [
DISP
] button for 1 second
or longer to switch to the display adjust mode.
2. Press the [
a
]/[
d
] button to select
“
DIMMER
”.
3. Turn the [
ROTARY
] knob to select “
ON
” or
“
OFF
”.
4. Press the [
DISP
] button to return to the previ-
ous mode.
Adjusting the display contrast
You can adjust the display contrast to match the
angle of installation of the unit.
∗
The factory default setting is “
5
”. (Adjustment level:
1 to 16)
1. Press and hold the [
DISP
] button for 1 second
or longer to switch to the display adjust mode.
2. Press the [
a
]/[
d
] button to select
“
CONTRAST
”.
3. Turn the [
ROTARY
] knob to adjust the con-
trast.
4. Press the [
DISP
] button to return to the previ-
ous mode.
Adjust Mode
Setting the low pass filter

This function can only be adjusted when the
subwoofer output is set to “
ON
” and the speaker
system is set to “
5.1ch
”. For details on how to set
the subwoofer, refer to the subsection “
Turning
on/off speakers
” in the section “
Changing Initial
Settings such as Menu Language, etc.
”.

This function cannot be adjusted when as follows:

Pro Logic
” is set to “
ON
”, the speaker system is
set to “
5.1ch
”, DVD/DTS-CD is being played.

The factory default setting is “

”. If the
speaker system is set to “
5.1ch
”, the factory default

”.

Setting the amplifier bypass

Adjusting the auxiliary input
sensitivity
Adjust the auxiliary sensitivity when the audio
from an external device is difficult to hear even
after adjusting the volume.

The factory default setting is “
MID
”.
1. Press the [
ADJ
] button to switch to the adjust
mode.
2. Press the [
a
]/[
d
] button to select
“
AUX SENSE
”.
3. Turn the [
ROTARY
] knob to select from

LOW
”, “
MID
” or “
HIGH
”.
4. Press the [

] button to return to the previ-
ous mode.
Performing a system check
This function verifies the devices hooked up
through CeNET.
1. Press the [
ADJ
] button to switch to the adjust
mode.
2. Press the [
a
]/[
d
] button to select “
SYSTM
CHK
E
E
E
E
E
”.
3. Press and hold the [
] button for 1 second
or longer to start the system check.
The digital connection configuration is auto-
matically checked.
When the system check is complete, perform
the speaker setting.
Turn the [
ROTARY
] knob to select the
speaker system and press the [
] button.
The display returns to the previous mode.
