ClareVision Plus Network Video Recorder User Manual
The status of the added CAMERA
displays as “Disconnected” when it is
connected through Private Protocol. Select Menu >Camera > Camera>IP
Camera to get the camera status.
Possible reasons:
•
Network failure, and the NVR and camera lost connections
•
The configured parameters are incorrect when adding the camera
•
Insufficient bandwidth
Solution:
1. Verify the network is connected.
Connect the NVR and PC with the RS-232 cable.
Open the Super Terminal software, and execute the ping command. Input
“ping IP” (e.g., ping 172.6.22.131).
Note:
Press Ctrl Plus C to exit the ping command.
If there exists return information and the time value is little, the network is
normal.
2. Verify the configuration parameters are correct.
Select Menu > Camera > Camera > IP Camera.
Verify the following parameters are the same with those of the connected IP
devices, including IP address, protocol, management port, user name and
password.
3. Verify that there is enough bandwidth.
Select Menu > Maintenance > Net Detect > Network Stat..
Check if the access bandwidth has reached its limit.
4. Check steps 1 to 3 for resolution.
If it is solved, finish the process.
If not, contact the engineer to do the further process.
