Use a sleeve with the correct inner diameter to fit
over shaft and against retainer ring. Strike the sleeve
with a sharp blow, using a soft hammer, to compress
the springs and seat the retainer ring. Make sure
ring is fully seated in groove.

between 0.048 - 0.108 in. (1.22 -2.74 mm). If the
clearance is greater than 0.108 in. (2.74 mm), add
one steel disc under the end plate.
