CHECKING AND SETTING THE VALVE TIMING

Engine : CFA

Refit the valve cover gasket in the groove of the valve cover and on the centring bosses indicated
by the arrows.

WARNING:

Check the positioning of the gasket, which must be well seated around the bases of the

bosses.

: 3 to 4 mm.

Apply a strip of seal paste

" on the sealing faces of the cylinder head and of the timing cover.

Seal paste :

AUTOJOINT OR.

WARNING:

Refit the valve cover within

3 minutes

and tighten the screws and nuts within

15 minutes

following application of the strip of seal paste
