Heat quantity measurement with fl owmeter V40
The heat quantity measurement calculation uses the diffe-
rence between fl ow and return temperature and the volume
fl ow transmitted by the fl owmeter.

Adjust 2 in the channel FTYPE

In the channel FIMP, adjust the impulse rate correspon-
ding to the V40 fl owmeter used.

Adjust the antifreeze type and concentration of the heat
transfer fl uid in the channels MEDT and MED%.

If the fl ow rate detection type FMAX or V40 has been
adjusted, the fl ow and the return sensor for heat quantity
measurement can be selected.

In the channel SFHQM select the fl ow sensor.

In the channel SRHQM select the return sensor.
For this function, free sensors at an appropriate position can
be selected. The pre-adjusted fl ow sensor is S1, the return
sensor is S4.

In this menu point the Grundfos sensors can be registered.
If Grundfos sensors (VFS) are connected and registered,
fl ow rate monitoring OFLOW can be carried out during
solar loading. If no fl ow rate has been detected for 30 s, the
error message EFLOW is diplayed in the status menu (see
fl ow rate monioring option).
