This section provides the steps for connecting to the Cisco UCS Management Interface.
Before connecting to the network ensure you have the following customer-supplied items:
•
Network cables
•
Network Configuration Information:
–
IP Addresses
–
Subnet Mask
–
Default Gateway
Factory Default IP Settings
The factory default settings must be changed to match the local subnet. The default settings are provided
for informational purposes only:
•
Bond0: 192.168.10.1
•
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
The Default Gateway or DNS must be customer configured.
Note
Firewall must be configured to allow access to Port 443 outbound. This enables your device to send a
nightly health status to Cisco Autosupport.
