Groups
The AAA Server Groups panel allows you to specify up to 14 authentication, authorization, and accounting
(
AAA ) server groups for your network.
Each AAA server group directs different types of traffic to the authentication servers in its group. If the first
authentication server listed in the group fails, the PIX Firewall seeks authentication from the next server in the
group. You can have up to 16 groups and each group can have up to 16 AAA servers for a total of up to 256 AAA
servers.

Use the AAA Servers panel in the System Properties tab to add AAA servers to the server groups you define
with this panel.
Field Descriptions
The AAA Server Groups panel displays the following fields:
AAA Server Groups table
Server Group—Displays default and user-defined AAA server groups.

Authentication Protocol—Displays the associated authentication protocol for the group.

Add—Opens the Add AAA Server Group dialog box, where you can define a new AAA server group and
assign it an authentication protocol.

Delete—Deletes the highlighted AAA server group.

RADIUS Server Only
Ignore authenticator key—Select this check box to prevent a retransmit caveat message.

Authentication Port—Enter the port to be used for authentication information.
