Making External Phone Calls
Outgoing Call Options
Press the
Call key
, and then call the number you want,
using the keypad, Contacts or Speed Dial (Contacts and
Speed Dial are explained in the
Phone Menus
chapter) .
Press the
Call key
, or the

button and the call will
be placed .

Enter the number you want to call, using the keypad,

be placed .
Receiving Phone Calls
You can press the
Call key
to answer a handset’s incoming
call . Information about the call will display on the handset’s
screen display .
While the phone is ringing, you can also press
Optons
(left soft key) and choose:
Incoming Call Options
Speaker on .
To Voicemail . Send the call to voice mail . Press the
down
or
up
arrow and highlight
To
Voicemail
and
press the
select
button .
New Call . Ignore the call and place a new call . Press the
down
or
up
arrow and highlight
New Call
and press
the
select
button .
Call Handset .
Private . Make the call private, if other handsets are
connected to the base station . Press the
down
or
up
arrow and highlight
Private
and press the
select
button .

Ending a Call
To end a call, press the
Power/End call key
.
Ringer Volume
Press the left arrow to decrease, or the right arrow to
increase the ringer volume, while you are in standby
mode .
