Memory Upgrade

Caution

Handle the DIMM by the edges only; do not touch the memory modules, pins, or traces (metal fingers 
along the connector edge). Handle carefully. DIMMs are ESD-sensitive components and can be damaged 
by mishandling.

Step 4

Hold the DIMM between your index fingers (See 

Figure 8

). The DIMM is notched on the connection 

edge, and there is a corresponding key on the memory slot, make sure they are oriented to seat correctly.
