Chapter 4 Configuring Settings on the Cisco Unified IP Phone

Accessing the Phone Configuration Settings

Procedure

Step 1

To access the IVR, go off-hook and press the

*, #,

and

buttons simultaneously. Alternatively on the

Cisco Unified IP Phone 6911, you can toggle the speaker button and press the

*, #,

and

buttons

simultaneously.

The IVR prompts for a password.

Note

The Cisco Unified IP Phone 6901 and 6911 supports alpha numeric characters (A-F), and colon (:) in
Ipv6 settings.

Step 2

Enter the PIN by pressing the number keypad, followed by

button.

You are at the IVR main configuration menu.

Step 3

Follow the voice prompts on the IVR. Refer to

Table 4-2

for information on navigating the IVR.

Step 4

To return to the main configuration menu, press

Step 5

To exit the IVR, end the call.
