Overview of the SSD Carrier Card NIM (NIM-SSD)
Installing the SSD Drives into the NIM Carrier Card
Follow these steps to insert one or two SSD drives into the carrier NIM:
Step 1
On the NIM-SSD, loosen the captive screws retaining the SSD card slot cover (
Figure 6-8
).

Rotate the SSD card slot cover down, exposing the slots which hold the SSDs as shown in
Figure 6-9
.
