to display the status of a new image being
downloaded to a switch with the HTTP or the TFTP protocol.

If you use the
archive download-sw
privileged EXEC command to download an image to a TFTP server,
the output of the
archive download-sw
command shows the status of the download.
If you do not have a TFTP server, you can use Network Assistant or the embedded device manager to
download the image by using HTTP. The
show archive status
command shows the progress of the
download.
Expressions are case sensitive. For example, if you enter |
exclude
output
, the lines that contain
output
are not displayed, but the lines that contain
Output
are displayed.
