5.3 PERIODIC CHECKS
- Check that the cold room temperature is close to or at the set level.
- Check that the inlet and outlet of the air moved by the condenser are not obstructed in any way.
- Check the amount of ice in the evaporator and if this latter is blocked, carry out a manual defrost cycle. If the problem persists,
modify the defrost parameters.
5.4 LONG PERIODS OUT OF SERVICE
In the event that the machine is left switched off for long periods of time, it is necessary to take the following precautions before
switching it on again.
Before carrying out any operations, disconnect the machine from the main power supply.
- Check that all electrical and/or water supply connections are in good condition and if necessary, call for technical assistance.
- Check that the spaces around the machine air inlet and outlet grids are not obstructed or reduced in any way.
6. SPECIAL MAINTENANCE
The instructions contained in this section are for qualified maintenance personnel.
6.1 PROGRAMMING THE PARAMETERS
All parameters necessary for the correct operation of the machine have already been programmed into the control panel. In the
event that it becomes necessary to vary some of these parameters, follow the instructions given below:
Access to the programming mode is obtained by pressing down
the SET
button for more than 5 seconds. When PA1 appears on
the DISPLAY press SET again.
Using the
and
buttons to set the password (see technical docu-
mentation, manual 2) and press SET.
Select the parameter to modify and press SET once more. Using
the
and
buttons to set the desired value and confirm the modi-
fication with SET.
To quit the programming mode press repeatedly ESC or don’t press
any buttons for at least 10 seconds.
CAUTION!!
To render the modifications to machine parameters
effective, it is necessary to disconnect the machine from the mains
power and then reconnect it, using the selector switch or thermo-
magnetic switch. Parameters with previously set “default” values
are shown in the table.
