 Consult the "Skin color and characteristics" table below and choose the light 

intensity suitable for your skin and hair color that you feel comfortable with (no 
pain). This product is not suitable for use on the skin colors and characteristics 
under which “X” mark is indicated.

Depending on the body part, you may need to change the light intensity. Use 
the product at the appropriate light intensity that suits you. The light pulse can 
feel warm or a little hot on the skin but should never be painful. Do not use the 
product at the light intensity that cause pain.
Persons with darker skin run a higher risk of skin problem because their skin 
absorbs more light, especially when the product is used at higher intensities. 
Therefore lower intensities are recommended for persons with darker skin. 
For problems with your skin, please read "About skin problems" on page 13.

Setting the light intensity

When using the product for the first time or after tanned, perform a skin test 

before use to check your skin condition. Perform a skin test to the area close to 

the area to be treated.

Please read "Do not use the product if the following applies." on page 4 to determine if you are qualified to 

use this product. Especially if you are tanned by sunlight or by artificial method, your skin color may be darker 

than the last time you used the product. Read "Skin color and characteristics" above, perform a skin test, and 

set the light intensity to an appropriate level before use.

● Please read "Do not use the product on the following areas." on page 4 for areas on which 

this product cannot be used.

● If you experience severe pain during treatment, lower the light intensity to a level where you 

do not feel pain. If redness or skin problems worsen, discontinue use immediately and read 

"About skin problems" on page 13.
