ted in the backrest tube before assembling the rocking cradle.
2. It is important to remember to always secure the fabric seat A
to all fastener points on the frame: fasten the buttons on both si-
des of the fabric to the frame, as seen in diag. 3 and 3A, until you
hear them click into place. Fasten the fabric to tube K (see diag. 3B)
using the zip, making sure it is always closed correctly.
WARNING: Always fasten the fabric onto the frame when using the
product. If the zip is not correctly fastened onto the frame tube, the
seat will not be able to withstand the weight of the baby.
3. The rocking cradle seat is fitted with a removable booster cu-
shion (c) for use when babies are very small. Place the booster cu-
shion on the rocker seat, inserting the crotch strap through the slot
on the booster cushion, and the clasps through the side slots on
the cushion, as shown in diag. 4 and 4A. Slot the toothed ends of
the safety harness into the clasps and check they are tight enough
and in the right position (diagram 5). To release the safety harness,
press the toothed ends and extract them from the clasp.
TOY BAR
4. Fasten the toy bar onto the side joint until you hear it click into
place (diag. 6).
5. The toy bar can be used in three different positions by rotating
it ( diag. 7).
6. To remove the toy bay simply turn the ring on the joint in the
direction indicated by the arrow, as seen in Diag, 8, and pull it up-
wards.
7. The toy bar is fitted with a sounds and lights panel that is activa-
ted by pressing the buttons on the upper section (Diag 9):
• Music button: it plays soothing and relaxing tunes (5 different
tunes)
• Sound button: to play New Age music (5 tunes and 3 nature
sounds)
• Mp3 function button: this activates the function to listen to tu-
nes on your own media device (not Included); the mp3 device
must be connected to the toy bar by using the cable on the ou-
ter side of the bar (diag. 10), and stored in its own practical side
pocket when in use.
WARNING: The toy will switch off automatically after 15 minutes
of inactivity, if no buttons on the panel are pressed. Simply press
the centre button to restart it.
• Volume adjustment button
The light panel is enabled when any of the sound modes is activated.
8. The toy bar also has a removable fabric toy. When it is hooked
onto the bar, it activates relaxing sounds when pulled.
REPLACING THE BATTERIES
To replace batteries: loosen the screw on the battery compartment
cover with a screwdriver and open the cover. Then remove the
spent batteries and fit new ones, paying attention that the poles
are in the right direction (as shown on the product), close the bat-
tery cover and tighten the screw.
This toy runs on 2 x 1.5 Volt “AA” batteries.
RECLINING THE BACKREST AND CLOSING THE ROCKING
CRADLE
9. Handle H is used to recline the backrest to three different posi-
tions (diag. 11).
10. To adjust the backrest. proceed as follows: get hold of the han-
dle and press the release button (diag. 12) pulling it forwards to the
desired position. There are 3 different reclining positions, when you
hear the tube click into place it means it is fitted correctly (diag.
13). The handle is used to recline the backrest in a lower position.
To raise the level simply lift the backrest upwards as shown in diag.
14.
WARNING: it is highly recommended to adjust the backrest wi-
thout the baby in the rocking cradle.
11. To close the product, pull the closure lever Q outwards (as seen
in diag. 15) and press the release button pulling the handle for-
wards until it reaches the last position (diag. 15A).
12. To open the rocking cradle again, simply pull the backrest up-
wards to the position required. The closure lever will automatically
lock into place.
WARNING: this last position is not a user position and must never
be used when the baby is in the rocking cradle.
FIXED OR ROCKING MODE
13. The rocking cradle has a “fixed and a “rocking” position. To se-
lect the rocking position, simply rotate feet J backward, following
the directions of the arrow (diag.16). When you want to use the ro-
cking cradle in a fixed mode again, turn the handle in the opposite
direction (diagram 16A).
REMOVABLE COVERS
14. It is possible to remove the seat cover and the booster cushion
to wash them: undo the harness belts and remove the booster cu-
shion from the crotch strap (diag. 17).
15. Slide the harness straps through the side slots in the fabric,
open the zip (diag. 18) and buttons on the sides (diag. 19). Press
the metal push pins, as seen in diag. 20, to release the backrest
tube. When the tube has been released the fabric cover can then
be removed.
WARNING: when the fabric cover is replaced on the frame, make
sure that the tube is slotted through the opening at the inner top
section of the backrest (diag. 21).
