UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure all the parts shown on the Parts Lists (page 12)
are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools at the
number shown on the cover of this manual as soon as possible.

CLAMP FIRST, THEN DISCONNECT THE RED CLAMP.

AVOID ELECTRICAL SHOCK. Use extreme caution when clamping around
uninsulated conductors or bus bars. Prevent body contact with grounded sur-
faces such as pipes, radiators, ranges when testing voltages.

THE POWER STATION IS FOR EMERGENCY USE ONLY. Do not use this unit
in the place of a vehicle/boat battery. Use the Power Station only to jump start a
vehicle/boat.

THE CIGARETTER LIGHTER SOCKET (part #11) IS FOR USE WITH 12 VOLT
DC NEGATIVE GROUND SYSTEM ONLY.

AVOID WORKING ALONE. If an accident occurs, an assistant can bring help.

AVOID DANGEROUS TRAFFIC. To avoid dangerous oncoming traffic, use the
Power Station as far away from the roadside as possible.

MAINTAIN A SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT. Keep the work area well lit.
Make sure there is adequate surrounding work space. Always keep the work
area free of obstructions, grease, oil, trash, and other debris.

WHEN JUMP STARTING, DO NOT USE THE POWER STATION FOR MORE
THAN 6 SECONDS WITHOUT A 3 MINUTE REST PERIOD BETWEEN SES-
SIONS.

ALWAYS RECHARGE THE POWER STATION IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE.
THE POWER STATION SHOULD BE RECHARGED EVERY 3 MONTHS
WHETHER USED OR NOT.

PROTECT THE POWER STATION FROM POSSIBLE DAMAGE DUE TO DI-
RECT SUNLIGHT, DIRECT HEAT, AND/OR MOISTURE.
