4.2 External Network Connection ( Network Requirement )
It can be used as an Client Bridge or Repeater AP to receive wireless signal over last mile
applications, helping WISPs deliver wireless broadband Internet service to new residential and
business customers. In this mode,
OW-215N2-X
is enabled with DHCP Server functions. The
wired clients of
OW-215N2-X
are in the same subnet from Main Base Station and it accepts
wireless connections from client devices.
4.3 Configure OW-215N2-X LAN IP Address
Here are the instructions for how to setup the local IP Address and Netmask. Please click on
System -> LAN
and follow the below setting.
When the
OW-215N2-X configured as an Access Point and Client Station simultaneously, the
Wireless General and Advanced Setup also used simultaneously. But the Security Type can
be different. In the other word, the channel or other settings will be the same between
OW-215N2-X to Main Base Station and wireless client to OW-215N2-X , but security type can
be different.
