1. Introduction
We would like to congratulate you on your pur-
chase of this outstanding device.
Please read these operating instructions care-
fully before using the device for the first time.
Adherence to the following guidelines and notes
guarantees device use without malfunctions and
accidents as well as a long life cycle.
2. Warranty
– Please check the spreader upon receipt for any
damage incurred during transit and make sure
that all of the items listed on your order have
been included with the delivery. Any notifications
of defects or complaints must be submitted in
writing within 3 working days of delivery and
include the delivery note number.
– The warranty shall expire immediately if the
device or its functions are modified without prior
consent from the dealer or CEMO. This also ap-
plies if the installation of non-original spare parts
is or forms part of the cause of any subsequent
damage or defects.
– All warranty claims must be submitted in writing.
When making a warranty claim, please include
the purchase date, the product designation, the
CEMO delivery note number and the dealer and
end customer address.
– All warranty claims are evaluated and approved
by our customer service department.
– The warranty does not cover any damage
incurred during assembly, disassembly or while
connecting the device.
– Any additional parts required shall be supplied
at extra cost. If these parts are covered by the
warranty, these costs shall be refunded once the
defective parts have been received and exam-
ined at our works.
– Technical changes reserved
– The KS 35-E box spreader should only be used
in accordance with its intended purpose
3. Intended purpose / use
The KS 35-E box spreader is to be used for
spreading salts and granulates in the winter as
well as spreading granulates to bind oil, as a seed
spreader (e.g., grass seeds, mustard for basic
fertilisation, etc.) and as a fertiliser spreader for
mineral fertilisers. The maximum grain size of the
spreading material is 4 mm.
Any uses other than those mentioned above do not
form part of the spreader‘s intended purpose / use.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damage result-
ing from uses other than the spreader‘s intended use
and the user shall be liable for any risks associated
with such uses.
Intended purpose / use includes the observance
of the manufacturer‘s operating, maintenance and
servicing regulations.
The KS 35-E box spreader must only be operated,
maintained and serviced by people who are famil-
iar with the device, who have relevant qualifica-
tions and who are aware of associated hazards.
The manufacturer does not accept liability for
damage resulting from any unauthorised modifica-
tions of the KS 35-E box spreader.
