– Always check the operating safety of the
spreader before every use.
– The hazard and information signs (pictographs)
on the machine provide important information for
operating the device safely and for preventing
accidents.
– Familiarise yourself with all of the equipment
and operating elements before using the device.
5. Operating, maintenance and
servicing regulations
Setting the spreading quantity
The KS 35-E box spreader has to be calibrated
before distributing the spreading materials. The
spreading quantity is set using the adjustable
extender wheel with the scale. Different spreading
materials, running speed and ground characteris-
tics can require changing the spreading quantity
settings. For this reason, CEMO assumes no
responsibility for the spreader material distribution
quantities.
Cleaning
The KS 35-E box spreader must be thoroughly
cleaned with water after use. Never leave grit
inside the container for longer than a few hours as
it will start forming clumps after a certain period of
time as it starts absorbing moisture.
Servicing and maintenance
The axle bearings always have to be well covered
with grease. All screws must be re-tightened after
approx. 3 - 4 operating hours. Store the KS 35-E
box spreader in a dry room.
