The part reference "B62" includes the following:
– Basic tool complete with battery and shoulder strap
– Spare battery
– Battery charger
– Plastic carrying case "VAL P9"
– Canvas bag "013" for storing the set of dies
2. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
(Ref. to Figs. 1, 2, 3 and 4)
2.1) Preparation
(Ref. to Figs. 1, 2)
The tool can be easily carried using
either the handle or the shoulder
strap (T) attached to the rings (R).
With the tool in the rest position
proceed as follows:
– Select the appropriate die set for
the
connector.
– Insert the dies into the guides in
the head (39), starting with the
lower
die.
– Insert the conductor into the con-
nector.
– Position the connector between
the dies and ensure the correct
location of the crimp.
2.2) Die advancement
(Ref. to Fig. 3)
– Press the operating button (10)
to activate the motor-pump and
advance the lower die. To halt
the advancement, release the
operating button (10) and the
motor will cut out.
Make sure the dies are exactly positioned on the desired crimp point otherwise
re-open dies following instructions as per § 2.5 and reposition the connector.
