The Wireless Outdoor Infrared Sensors have been specially designed by Cellsecure to
offer maximum performance with the minimum of false alarms in the harsh outdoor
environment. The Sensor detects the movement of heat in the infrared spectrum of light.
In other words a source of heat such as a human moving past the Sensor field of view
(beam) will cause the Sensor to detect and a signal will be sent to the Control panel.
The maximum distance that the Sensor will detect is safely 20 meters and at 20 meters
the beam is approximately 3 meters wide, however in certain circumstances this could
be more. It is recommended that the sensor is used as a proximity sensor and not as a
perimeter sensor. Do not use this sensor open ended ALWAYS point towards a wall.

2.2.2. Indoor Passive Infrared Wide Angle Sensors (High Power).
The Sensor detects the movement of heat in the infrared spectrum of light. In other
words a source of heat such as a human moving past the Sensor field of view will cause
the Sensor to detect and a signal will be sent to the Control Panel Control panel. The
Sensor will detect movement up to 8-12 meters away from the device, at a hight of
1,8m, and up to 100 degrees wide.
