Internal Float Switch
The evaporator unit comes equipped with a float switch to monitor the level of condensation in the internal drain pan.
If the drain line is obstructed for some reason, and the water level in the drain pan gets too high. the controller will
send an alarm to the display. The alarm message displayed will be "EA". The system will continue to run if the DOA has
not been changed to 5. The factory setting allows the unit to run even if the EA alarm is tripped. The alarm will be
corrected when the water level inside the drip pan decreases and the float switch becomes disengaged.
All joints and connections shall be made in accordance with the applicable provisions of Chapter 7 of the International
Plumbing Code relative to the material type. Condensate waste and drain line size shall be not less than 3/4 inch
(19 mm) internal diameter and shall not decrease in size from the drain pan connection to the place of
condensate disposal.
