Problem
Solution
I forgot the password
Restoring Default Settings according to steps below:
1. Power OFF the ADA-14040
2. Remove the cover of Serial Server Wi-Fi connector,
3. Press RESET “RST” and holding the button turn the power on of ADA-14040,
4. Release the button and after 20 sec. the Serial Server will start with Default Settings (sec. 7).
Restoring Default Settings deletes existing configuration and the proper configuration should be loaded
form the backup.

[Factory Default Settings]

The Serial Server cannot
be found in the Network.
I. If IP address is not known or cannot be found by the use of ADAFinder software and yellow LED is
blinking with high frequency (signaling of network searching), restore Default Settings according to steps
below:
1. Power OFF the ADA-14040,
2. Remove the cover of Serial Server Wi-Fi connector,
3. Press RESET “RST” and holding the button turn the power on of ADA-14040,
4. Release the button and after 20 sec. the Serial Server will start with Default Settings (sec.7),
5. Wait about 1 min. and run ADAFinder for network searching.
II. If IP address is not known or cannot be found by the use of ADAFinder software and yellow LED
continuously lit (signaling establishing a connection between ADA-14040 and Access Point), follow the
steps below:
1.Power OFF the ADA-14040,
2. Set in the configuration of device like ACCESS-POINT, ROUTER Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi adapter, the lowest free
channel of wireless transmission – because ADA-14040 is connecting to any wireless network during
start.
3. Disable Firewall.
4. Turn the power on of ADA-14040.
5. Wait about 1 min. and run ADAFinder for network searching.
III. If IP address is not known or cannot be found by the use of ADAFinder software and yellow LED is
blinking with low frequency (signaling operation in 'ad-hoc' mode), follow the steps below:
1. Power OFF the ADA-14040,
2. Set in the configuration of device like ACCESS-POINT, ROUTER Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi adapter, the lowest free
channel of wireless transmission – because ADA-14040 is connecting to any wireless network during
start,
3. Disable Firewall.
4. Turn the power on of ADA-14040.
5. Wait about 1 min. and run ADAFinder for network searching.
