1. SMP-WEB4 supports following predefined screen resolutions and refresh rate:

Screen Resolution

640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1152x864, 1280x1024, 1600x1200, 1280x720 (720p), 

1280x768, 1360x768, 1366x768, 1600x900

Refresh Rate

Auto, 60, 70, 72, or 75

2. Two  screens  with  one identical model for Clone mode is strongly suggested. You can only configure one screen 

resolution for two screens, so the presentation result may be unpredictable if you use two different screens, one of 
which doesn’t support the selected resolution.

3. When you choose a screen resolution, please also note that video resolution and specification may differ for different 

output methods and screen orientation.  We acknowledge video playback results may be influenced by many factors, 

such as codec, bit-rate, screen resolution, or other components playing with video at the same time, etc. Please test 
the video on SMP players in advance. CAYIN DOES NOT GUARANTEE EVERY VIDEO FILE CAN BE PLAYED ON 
SMP PLAYERS PROPERLY WITHOUT TESTING BEFOREHAND.

4. The applicable resolution is also related to the resolutions of your display. Please check the specifications of the 

display and choose a suitable one for you.

7-4-2 Display Information for SMP-WEBDUO

In SMP-WEBDUO, you have 4 different output methods for different applications.

 Single Mode:

Output signals to one single display only. You will have best overall system performance by 
choosing this method.

 Clone Mode: 

Connect one SMP player to two screens which present exactly the same content. 

 Extended Mode: 

Connect one SMP player to two screens and present one content which will show across 
these two screens.

 Distinct Mode: 

Connect one SMP player to two screens which present two different contents on each 

screen. You need to configure the 2nd Web Playlist for the 2nd screen. You can display at 

most four videos on two screens by choosing this method.
