Attention:
When operating electrical devices all basic safety instructions must always be observed. This also
applies for this vacuum sealer system:
1. Keep the unit away from water or other liquids to avoid electrical discharge.
2. For safety reasons please make sure that children keep away from this device. If children are
present be sure to monitor them closely.
3. Unplug the cord after every use, before assembling or disassembling parts or before cleaning.
4. Do not place the unit on or in the vicinity of warm surfaces, in the oven, or in a dishwasher.
5. Do not use the product outside.
6. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces and sharp edges.
7. Do not pull the plug out of the socket to turn it off. First use the Stop pushbutton or the
On(I)/Off(0) switch (VC44 only). Only then pull the plug out of the socket.
8. Never plug the device in the socket when water or other liquids can be found on the work surface.
9. Place the unit on a solid surface to avoid movement or falling.
10. Do not use detergents or abrasive cloths to clean the unit.
11. Do not leave the device unsupervised during operation
12. The producer takes intensive care to equip the product with the utmost safety and quality. In spite
of these precautions it is indispensable that fundamental safety precautions are observed to
avoid potential damage to people and objects. Before the first use and periodically thereafter
check the plug; if it is damaged do not use. Take the appliance immediately to an authorized
service centre or to your dealer.
13. Please read these operating instructions carefully and completely and keep it for future
reference.
14. The vacuum sealer system is a device whose casing does not protect against water getting in.
Never immerse the unit in water. If the cord and the plug become wet at any time, remove the
plug from the electric socket while wearing dry rubber gloves. If the unit has been immersed,
send it immediately to an authorized service centre or to your dealer. Do not use the appliance
after removing it out of the water.
15. To avoid getting burned, never touch the sealing bar while the unit is operating.
16. Never use adapters with input voltages not indicated on the bottom of the unit (rating plate data).
17. Don’t open the unit or attempt to change or repair. Only authorized service is allowed to
undertake repairs. Unauthorized repairs may invalidate the warranty.
18. In order to obtain the optimal result we recommend to use original accessory parts such as bags
and rolls.
19. This device is not made for professional use. It is, however, equipped with a safety regulations
which protects the device against overheating. In order to prevent the device from overheating
we recommend to carry out 10-15 subsequent cycles. A cycle can be defined as follows:
