Viewing Measurement Memory Contents

Whenever you stop a measurement operation, the Pulse Monitor
automatically stores various different results in measurement memory.
Use the procedure below to view measurement memory contents.

Important!

Current measurement memory contents are retained until you clear
them even if you turn off Pulse Monitor power. Note that measurement
memory contents are also cleared if the battery goes dead.

To view measurement memory contents

Note that the following steps are not possible if a stopwatch elapsed
time operation is in progress.

1. While the stopwatch screen is on the

display, hold down the

MODE/SELECT

button for about two seconds until the
“kcal” (kilocalorie) or “kJ” (kilojoule)
indicator appears on the display.

The value on the screen shows the current energy consumption in
kilocalories (“kcal”) or kilojoules (“kJ”). The unit used depends on
the current energy unit setting.

2. Use the

MODE/SELECT

button to cycle through the available

screens in the sequence shown below.

The unit used for the Body Fat Burned value depends on the
weight unit you select with the personal information settings.
Grams (indicated by the “g” indicator at the bottom of the display)
are used if you select

(kilograms) as the weight unit. Ounces

(indicated by

to the right of the displayed value) are used if you

select   (pounds). See “Personal Information Settings” for more
information.

3. After you are finished viewing measurement memory contents, hold

down the

MODE/SELECT

button for about two seconds to return to

the stopwatch screen.

The energy consumption value shows the approximate energy you
consumed by exercise only. It does not include additional energy
consumed due to base metabolism.

Clearing Measurement Memory Contents

Use the following procedure when you want to clear measurement
memory contents and reset the stopwatch to all zeros.

To clear measurement memory contents

While the stopwatch screen is on the display, hold down the
