At the bottom of the Salt chlorinator there is a connection that should be used to ground the unit to the pool
grounding system with a copper wire of 8 AWG (6 AWG for Canada) (as per diagram below)
Installation of the cell and flow switch:
The switches (electrolytic cell and flow switch) cables have connectors at the ends that plug into the salt
chlorinator to facilitate installation. Open the door of the control panel to install the cell cable. On the bottom
of the enclosure, there is the flow switch with a plug (very similar to a telephone jack) located outside. See
figure below for the locations of the switches.
Electrical information:
Connect the Salt chlorinator DIRECTLY TO 120/240vac POWER (not to be connected through relay or
timer).
