•  Press the On/Off button   3   to transmit your selections to the
air conditioner

1. If you choose to place the airflow deflector in a fixed posi-

tion, the deflector stops at the angle in which it was located
when you pressed the On/Off button.

 

NOTE:  

 

When you have finished selecting the various menus and

choosing the desired settings, point the remote controller at the air
conditioner and press the On/Off button   3  . Two beeps sound
and the air conditioner starts operating according to your selected
settings. The settings chosen stop flashing and remain lit.

 

PROGRAMMING AIR CONDITIONER 
OPERATION PERIODS

 

Through a simple process you can program the air conditioner
to operate at your convenience. First, you must set the clock.

 

SETTING THE CLOCK

 

•  Slide down the front cover of the Remote controller below the
On/Off switch.

•  Press the Clock Set button with an appropriate object, such as
a ballpoint pen. 

•  Press   2   to set the current minutes

•  Press   1  ; the hours digits flash

•  Press   2   to set the current hour

•  Press the Clock Set button to confirm the current time setting.

The remote controller reverts to its previous display and the
clock is displayed.

 

SETTING OPERATION START/STOP TIMES

 

You can use the Timer to pre-set air conditioner operation Start/
Stop times. You can set up to three different Timer periods within

 

24 hours,

 

 spaced at up to 10 hours apart.

•  Slide down the front cover of the Remote below the On/Off
switch.

•  Press the TIMER button. Each time you press on the TIMER
button, the next Start or Stop set time appears on the display.

•  The TIMER display appears: 

•  Press button   2   to set the time.

• Press the SET button to set the displayed time, or push the
timer button to get to the desired time period.

 

NOTES:

 

1. Time increments in 10 minute intervals.

2. The TIMER lamp on the air conditioner display lights

whenever a timer period is set (see Page 9 for location).

3. The remote controller displays the Timer period Start/Stop

time which is nearest the current time. If the air conditioner
is ON, the word "STOP" + the Timer period are displayed;
If the air-conditioner is OFF, the word "START" + the Timer
period are displayed.

4. If no buttons are pressed during ten seconds, the remote

controller reverts to its previous display.

5. If you make an error that you want to correct, you must

cancel the programmed Timer period settings (see Page 7).

 

SETTING THE SLEEP TIMER PERIOD

 

The fourth Timer period is marked SLEEP. When SLEEP is ac-
tive, the desired temperature is updated while you sleep. The
room air temperature gradually rises (COOLING MODE) until
this Timer period is exited. At the end of the Timer period, the
desired temperature returns to its previous setting.

 

IMPORTANT

 

Make sure to point the remote controller at the air con-
ditioner while pressing the TIMER SET button.
