When the air conditioner is OFF:

•  Press DELAY button. The clock advances one hour, while the
word START and the number 3 flash.

•  Each additional pressing of the DELAY button advances the
clock by one hour.

•  Make sure you point the remote controller at the air condi-
tioner while you press the DELAY button. The word START will
stop flashing when the command has been transmitted to the air
conditioner.

• TO CANCEL THE DELAY, FOLLOW THE INSTRUC-
TIONS IN THE "CANCELING A TIMER PERIOD START/
STOP TIME" SECTION. THE DELAY SETTING IS STORED
IN TIMER PERIOD NO. 3.

USING THE LOCAL SENSE FUNCTION (2 WAY RE-
MOTE)

The remote controller can operate so that it transmits the room
air temperature to the air conditioner at regular intervals from
wherever it is located in the room.

The air conditioner operates so that the room air near the remote
controller reaches the desired temperature.

perature display flashes.

•  Place the remote controller in the desired room location.

•  Make sure that there is a direct line of sight between the
remote controller and the air conditioner.

•  To cancel the Local Sensor, press the SENSE button; the house
symbol disappears from the display.
