After performing the installation procedures the appliance can be set into
operation:
1) equip the micromotor with the required handpiece and tool;
2) switch on the appliance by means of the main power switch (6, Fig. 2);
3) select the program number by positioning the cursor using the "shift"
key (7, Fig. 6) in field 1 shown in figure 8, and then using the "
n
" (5 in
Fig. 6) and "
p
" (6 in Fig. 6) keys until obtaining the program required;
4) if there is no program saved in the memory that is suitable in relation
to the operation you are about to perform, use the edit procedure to
change one of the existing programs appropriately (see § 5.2.3);
5) push the footswitch lever (10 in Fig. 7) to start the motor and change
the speed; use the previously described control devices on the
footswitch (see § 5.1) to start or stop the water pump and reverse the
direction of run of the motor as required.

The appliance can be deactivated as follows:
- by releasing the footswitch (Fig. 7);
- by setting the main power switch to OFF (6 in Fig. 2);
- by unplugging the power cable from the electrical socket outlet.

The programs can be edited by using the commands on the front of the
machine, as well as by using the footswitch.
To edit a program using the commands on the front (see Figs. 6 and 8):
position the cursor on the “Step” field (1 in Fig. 8) and use the "

keys to select the number of the first free or unused
program.
