• Do not use the instrument in humid
rooms or out in the open.
• You may clean the instrument with a
soft, slightly moist cloth soaked with a
small amount of a neutral detergent,
then dry the products thoroughly. Do
not plug in the lamp unless and until it
is completely dry.
• Pull the plug out of the socket if the
instrument is not in use. Keep the
instrument – preferably in its original
packaging - in a dry and dust-free
place.
• The lamp’s infrared radiation is
unsuitable for tanning.
• Do not stare straight into the lamp;
instead, keep your eyes closed to
prevent damaging them.
• Never use the instrument if the
light filter
is damaged, broken, or
missing.
• Protect the treated body part from
chilling.
• Do not fall asleep during treatments.
• Never use the instrument if you are on
pain killers—which are prone to affect
your heat sensitivity. Consult your
physician before using the instrument.
• Never use the instrument if you have
any swellings or inflammations.
Delivery and packaging
The packaging contains:
• 1 infrared lamp (650Watt)
• 1 user manual
The packaging material may be either
reused or recycled. Make sure that used
packaging materials are sent to the
pertinent waste management facility.
Any transport damages detected while
unpacking should be reported your
supplier immediately.
Application
The Caremaxx infrared lamp may
be used at home to treat muscle
problems
and
to
alleviate
pain.
Infrared radiation penetrates deep into
the body, which is therefore heated from
within. Heating the cutaneous tissue will
widen the blood vessels and enhance
the blood flow and the metabolism, thus
also accelerating the evacuation of waste
products from the body.
The Caremaxx infrared lamp lends itself,
among others, for the treatment of:
- stiff muscles
- muscle pain
- common colds
- (lower) back pain
- rheumatic problems
There should be some noticeable
improvement after 7 sessions; otherwise
please consult your family physician.
Always consult a medical doctor before
using the instrument if you are running
a fever, while you are using pain killers,
if you are suffering from (infrared) light
hypersensitivity, swellings, inflammations,
diabetes, heart problems, multiple
sclerosis, thromboses, or coagulation
disorders.
