manual we will explain the functions and the handling of our
device. Please take your time to read through the manual
and follow all safety and operational instructions in order to
achieve best results. If you have suggestions or questions
about this product please contact your dealer or our service
team.

1. Designated Use
The Insect Trap with Smart Vacuum is designed for catching
flying insects. It attracts the insects with a UV-light. A fan
will then suck the insects into a collecting bin where they will
gradually dehydrate. Any other use as the mentioned is not
permitted! No liabilities will be taken for damages or conse-
quential damages or claims resulting out of not reading and/
or not following the user guide and/or any form of modifi-
cation on or in the product. Under these circumstances, no
warranty services will be granted.
2. Product Description
Do mosquitoes rob you of your sleep? Everybody wants to
avoid the itchy bites. The device attracts flying insects with
UV light. The integrated fan sucks them into the collecting
container. Here they are caught and dehydrate within a short
time. The unique, funnel shaped design of the trap and the
fan prevent the insects from escaping. The container of the
device can easily be removed with a short twisting motion.
The insects can then be disposed of quickly and hygienically.
3. Safety Instructions
• Electrical appliances, packaging materials, etc. do not be-
long in the hands of children. Children may not play the
device.
• The device may only be used with the stated voltage:
230 V / 50 Hz
• It must be determined if the device is suitable for the res-
pective use.
• The device may only be used by children over eight years
and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental ca-
pabilities, or the lack of knowledge or experience, if they
are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of
the device by a person responsible for their safety and have
understood the dangers resulting out of the use.
• Repairs may only be made with original spare parts to avoid
serious damage. If original parts are not used the device can
become dangerous and warranty and CE become invalid.
• Do not connect the device if the power cord is damaged.
Disconnect the device immediately from the mains. In or-
der to avoid a hazard or electrocution, a damaged power
cord must be replaced immediately by our service centre or
a similarly qualified person.
• The device must be protected from dampness, extreme
cold and heat. Make sure that the device has sufficient
ventilation.
• This unit is suitable for indoor use only.
• Keep these instructions in a safe place and pass them on
when giving the device to a third person.
• Should there be any open questions on the installation,
the devices connected, the functions, the maintenance,
the safety or any other point concerning this device, please
contact a qualified person or our service center.

5. Getting Started
1. Take the device out of its packing and check if there are
any damages before using it. Please also check the power
supply cable.
2. Hang or set the device in a convenient place (see below).
Plug the device into a 230 V/50 Hz socket and switch the
device on by pressing the on-off switch.
