Operation

4

 • When working in a dusty area, clean the air filter element twice a day. The dirty

air filter element results in poor starting, poor performance, or short service life.

 • When a cutting blade is broken, replace it and the other blade with a new pair. A

broken blade causes excessive vibration, which damages the machine.

 • When something is tangled to the mower, stop the engine immediately and

remove the tangled object. Such object causes excessive vibration, which
damages the machine.

 •  Always clean the cutting blades and the cutting blade stay after every use (see

page 77). Foreign object on those parts may become solidified or corrode those

parts and make the cutting blades hard to remove.

 •  In case cut grass, dust, or foreign object enters between the cutting blade pin

and slot, making it difficult to remove the cutting blade, use a flathead screw
driver or similar tool to remove such material or object first.

 •  Use [L] (low speed) mode when cutting. Cutting in [H] (high speed) mode puts

excessive strain on the cutting mechanism and may damage it.

 • Always stay on the machine when cuting.

 • Make sure the air intake for cooling is not clogged or blocked. If it is clogged or

blocked, it causes overheating, resulting in damages to the machine.
