Configuring Host Software
Once the Canlan has been configured and connected to a control panel, test
the configuration by attempting a connection to the Canlan from the
appropriate host software. The following sections give a brief overview of how
to define a new Canlan using either:
Maestro software
Smartlock Pro software.
MAESTRO
Canlans are defined within Maestro as virtual trunk lines beginning at trunk
17 through trunk 256. The virtual trunks are configured by choosing
EDIT > SYSTEM > NETWORK TRUNK ADDRESSES
from the menu.
