 If you want to use voice recognition, select 
[ Vocal Mode] or [Vocal Mode]. If 
you select [Manual Mode], you cannot use 
voice recognition. 

• 

 When the Manual and Vocal mode or Vocal 
mode is set, if [Express Copy] is selected in 
[Copy Screen Display Settings] (from the 
Settings/Registration screen), you cannot 
use the Voice Navigation mode with the 
copying function. For more information 
on [Copy Screen Display Settings], see the 
instruction manuals of your machine, or 
please seek assistance. 

• 

 If nothing is displayed on the touch 
panel display, or if the machine is in the 
Sleep mode, the Voice Navigation mode 
will not start even if you press and hold 

 (Reset), the Voice Recognition button 

or 

 (Voice Navigation) for more than five 

seconds.
