Overview
This product is a FAX unit for adding FAX lines to the machine.
This machine is equipped with a telephone-based communication function and an image
processing function to enable a digital copier to serve as a highly functional multi-function fax
machine.
As for image transmission speed, it is capable of communicating at 33.6 kbps (max.) thanks
to a modem for V.34, which comply with ITU-T standard.
FAX lines can be added to the existing FAX unit for one line (Super G3 FAX board-AE1).
Select either of the following FAX units according to FAX lines required.
• Super G3 2nd Line FAX Board-AE1: FAX unit for 2 lines. Add one FAX line.
• Super G3 3rd/4th Line FAX Board-AE1: FAX unit for 3/4 lines. Add up to two FAX
lines.

Either of them cannot be mounted directly on the machine unless a FAX unit for 1 line is
mounted.
