FAX communication test

Perform communication test to check if FAX function
works correctly.
1) Switch the control panel display to Fax display.
2) Select the sending line.

Press [Fax]> [Options]> [Select Line], select the added line, then press [OK] button.

3) Send and receive a test original between the equipment and a remote unit with which a

communication test can be performed and check if it can be sent and receive correctly.

3-1) Press [Status Monitor/Cancel]> [Send]> [Log] and select [Fax] from pull down menu.
3-2) Press [Print List]> [Print the fax activity report?]> [Yes].
3-3) The number printed following colon(:) in "COMM. MODE" field on Fax Activity

Report TX/RX shows line type used for sending/receiving.
E.g. "ECM:3" => Line 3
