- Before replacement, check the ink
absorber counter value (by service test
print or EEPROM information print).
- Before removal of the logic board ass'y,
remove the power cord, and allow for
approx. 1 minute (for discharge of
capacitor's accumulated charges), to
prevent damages to the logic board ass'y.
In the service mode:
1. Set the ink absorber counter value.
2. Set the destination.
3. Print the integrated inspection pattern.
4. Perform LF / Eject correction (only when
streaks or uneven printing occurs).
5. Print the EEPROM information.

In the user mode:
6. Set the language displayed on the LCD.
7. Reset the LAN settings.
8. Perform print head alignment.
9. Print via USB connection.
10. Copy.
11. Perform direct printing from a digital camera
(PictBridge).
