Guidelines for Recording with High Shutter Speeds:
- Outdoor sports such as golf or tennis: 1/2000
- Moving objects such as cars or roller coasters: 1/1000,
1/500 or 1/250
- Indoor sports such as basketball: 1/120
- Do not point the camcorder directly at the sun when the shutter speed is set
to 1/1000 or higher.
- The image may flicker when recording with high shutter speeds.

Guidelines for Recording with Slow Shutter Speeds (CAMERA mode: 1/6, 1/12,
1/25; CARD CAMERA mode: 1/2, 1/3, 1/6, 1/12, 1/25):
- Use a slow shutter in dimly lit places, when panning on a moving subject or
to create a trailing effect.
- The image quality may be slightly lower when recording with slow shutter
speeds.
- Autofocus may not work with slow shutter speeds. In such case, adjust the
focus manually.
