7 Load the Paper Cassette
Follow the procedures below to load the paper cassette.
• Loading the paper or other print media in the cassette.
• Selecting the media size and type on the operation panel.
Loading the Media
Follow the procedures below to load the paper cassette provided with the
printer. This procedure also applies to the optional paper cassettes.

The paper cassette holds approximately 250 sheets of standard weight (64 to 105 g/
m
2
) plain paper. However, the number of sheets that the cassette can hold depends
on the type of paper. (

Install the tray (removed at
P.1-8) onto the cassette cover.

For the optional paper cassettes (Cassette 2,13x22 inch Cassette) there is no tray,
so removal or installation is not required.

The tray cannot be attached to the cassette covers of the optional paper cassettes.
