HDR Range
Sets the display method when Gamma/EOTF for HDR display is selected.

Setting procedures
The explanation uses [SMPTE ST 2084 (PQ)] as an example.
When set at [1000], those areas that exceed 1,000 cd/m
2
are clipped, and those that are 1,000 cd/m
2
or below are assigned
to the dynamic range of the video display. When displaying an image with a PQ of 1,000 cd/m
2
, you can check the entire
dynamic range of the image. Also, when displaying an image with a PQ of 4,000 cd/m
2
, you can check the image up to
1,000 cd/m
2
.
When set at [4000], those areas that exceed 4,000 cd/m
2
are clipped, and those that are 4,000 cd/m
2
or below are assigned
to the dynamic range of the video display. When displaying an image with a PQ of 4,000 cd/m
2
, although the apparent
brightness lowers, you can still check all the dynamic range of the image.
The brightness of the video display corresponds to the value set for Luminance.
